Many major car manufacturers have announced that they will have autonomous cars in the market by 2020. We expect to see 10 million self driving cars on the road by then. Autonomous driving is not a far-fetched futuristic technology... It's already here. In fact, there are hundreds of these vehicles navigating our roads right now.
It’s much more than not having to drive yourself home when you’ve had a few too many. Autonomous driving will make our roads significantly safer, will reduce congestion, and will allow children, the elderly, and the disabled to gain mobility freedom. While this technology is developing quickly, there are still many challenges in our path: Unclear regulations, undefined interactions with people in, and outside of, the car, and many more.
Join us on November 16th as we bring together a range of mobility experts spanning auto brands, transportation service providers, and groups dedicated to investing in and revolutionizing transportation to discuss what we’ve accomplished, where we’re at, and of course, the future of mobility.
